Q. What models and years do you cover?
A. We cover most classic pre-World War II cars, including but not limited to: Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Bugatti, Cord, Delage, Delahaye, Ford, Isotta-Fraschini, Jaguar, Hispano-Suiza, Lagonda, Lincoln, Rolls-Royce, Talbot, and Voisin. We also do special orders, from as little as a photograph, to suit your needs. (See “Stock Disc” page.).
Q. Do you only do pre-war cars?
A. No, we have done a number of post-war cars, but we have to see how the wheel is mounted to know if we can fit a disc to the wheel.
Q. Are all your wheel covers manufactured to OEM standards?
A. Yes, our wheel covers are manufactured to the OEM standards of the time.
Q. How do I know if my car had full wheel covers as an option?
A. you give us the make, model and year, we will supply you with the information.
Q. Do you have any original or reproduction vintage literature outlining my vehicles accessory wheel covers?
A. In some cases we do have pictures or literature outlining wheel covers that may have been an accessory. Once again, give us the make, model and year, and we will forward information to you.
Q. Can you straighten or restore my originals?
A. No, Iím sorry, we donít straighten or restore wheel covers.
Q. If I bring you my original cover can you manufacture a new one?
A. Yes, we should be able to.
Q. Can you make wheel covers from a photograph?
A. Yes, in most cases. We may also ask you to send us a rim to insure the fit.
Q. Did my original wheel covers come with air valve extensions?
A. It varies, but we can help you install them if necessary.
Q. Do you offer any kind of security or locking assembly?
A. Definitely, we want to make sure wheel covers will remain safely on your car.
Q. Will a full wheel cover affect my breaking system in terms of temperature?
A. No, we have had no comments about covers affecting the breaking capabilities of any vehicle.
Q. What kind of materials do you use for wheel covers?
A. Different wheel covers utilize different materials including stainless steel, bronze plated chrome, some steel or aluminum and castings made out of zinc alloys and brass.
Q. Do you offer a guarantee or return policy?
A. Yes, we guarantee our wheel covers to fit. In some cases, we ask for one of the wheels to be sent to us, so we can insure the fit.
Q. How long does it take to manufacture wheel covers?
A. We try to keep an inventory of over 90 types of wheel covers in stock for immediate delivery. If we have to start from scratch, it can take up to three months to produce.
Q. To custom order, what kind of information, specs and images do you need?
A. For custom made wheel covers we would first like to have a picture or drawing of what design you would like. We will then give you a cost. For the actual manufacturing of the wheel covers we will need a wheel to be sure it fits and can be securely fastened.
